Burnham Canal Wetlands Project
Located on the southeastern edge of the Valley, the Burnham Canal is a former shipping canal that is no longer in use. This project will transform the Canal from the 11th St bridge west to the end of the canal back into a wetland. This is an environmental remediation project that is a joint project between the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, Miller Compressing, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
